Life’s Beautiful Moments.
I got into weddings because there's something magical about capturing the most special day in a couple's life. It's not just about the big moments but the little ones—the shared glances, the happy tears, and the pure joy that fills the air. I find deep fulfillment in preserving these memories, knowing they'll be cherished for a lifetime. Creating timeless stories through my lens is my way of adding a little extra love to the world. Every wedding package includes full-day coverage, with no time limits. From the early morning prep to the final exit, I’ll be there to capture every laugh, tear, and dance, making sure all the unforgettable moments are preserved. My goal is to focus on your experience, so you won’t need to worry about fitting important events like the cake cutting or first dance into a specific timeframe.
I also attend the rehearsal to meet your loved ones and answer any last-minute questions. This allows me to scout the best spots with the perfect lighting for family photos, bridal portraits, and those stunning sunset shots.
Each photo is carefully edited and color-corrected, and you’ll receive the full-resolution images through an online gallery with a print release and unlimited downloads. I work closely with you or your wedding planner to create a schedule that lets you fully enjoy your day without feeling rushed.
FAQs
What is a wedding film?
A highlight film is a concise, dynamic video, typically ranging from two to seven minutes, that captures the essence of your wedding day in a style akin to a cinematic music video. This fast-paced film features artistic shots and carefully selected soundbites from the ceremony and toasts, delivering an impactful narrative without full-length edits of these moments. While the highlight film provides a captivating overview, you have the flexibility to upgrade to a more comprehensive package later, as we shoot your wedding day with the same attention to detail as our Documentary Package.
Do you offer films longer than the typical highlight film?
Totally! We offer several packages that can include a “Ceremony Film” (15-30 minutes, depending on the ceremony's length), a “Toasts Film” (10-30 minutes), and a “Full Documentary Film” (45+ minutes). These options are detailed in our pricing guide, which we’ll provide when you reach out.
How long can we expect to wait for our photos or wedding highlight?
Typically two to three weeks for photos and a month for wedding highlights.
How long are your films typically?
All of our packages include a highlight film which ranges anywhere from 3-8 minutes, depending on which package you choose.
Do you offer different prices for elopements?
We don’t. We dedicate just as much time to shooting and editing elopements or intimate weddings as we do for traditional weddings. In fact, it can sometimes take even longer if we've spent multiple days with our couples. Elopements often involve a variety of activities, so we have to be even more intentional in capturing footage for the final edit.
Are you in charge of the mood of the film?
So, this is something I will discuss with the bride and groom before we shoot. If there's a specific style you want for your film—whether it’s moody, bright, comedically themed, or Adam’s Family wild—I will make that happen. I love thinking outside the box when it comes to wedding films because it reflects what’s uniquely you and your partner.
How much can a couple expect to spend with you?
Our wedding packages for local celebrations in Humboldt County, CA start at $2,900. Most couples typically invest between $5,000 and $7,500 for their wedding day or weekend coverage. We also offer and can include either an adventure session or an additional day of filming, allowing us to capture even more of your unique story.
Do you choose the music? Can we suggest?
I am very open to song suggestion and working music into the edit but we select the music for your film with careful consideration, primarily focusing on pacing and feeling. The music sets the tone and rhythm of your entire video, and while some songs might be great to listen to, they may not be ideal for a wedding film. We need music that builds and has a strong arc, which is something many popular songs might lack. However, a popular song of your choice might actually be perfect for a trailer of your wedding film!
Can you shoot our wedding film vertically?
Yes! In fact, my first two wedding highlights were shot vertically. I have no preference. I like the entire screen that your highlight is being seen on to be filled whether it’s shot vertically or horizontally. Currently my future booked weddings are going to be shot horizontally.
